Gypsum mortar is a replacement product of cement mortar. It can overcome the phenomenon of hollowing, dry cracking and falling off after cement mortar is plastered on the wall, and can bond well with various wall substrates, especially for ceiling plastering. The effect of the air-concrete wall is better, and it also has the following characteristics: No hollowing, no cracking: no hollowing or cracking phenomenon was found in the actual use of major projects;

1. Surface decoration performance
The wall is dense and smooth without ash, has high strength without shrinking, elegant appearance, no odor and no cracks.

2. Fire resistance
Class A fireproof material. In the event of a fire, a large amount of crystal water is released from the gypsum hardened body under the action of heat to form steam, which blocks the spread of the flame, and at the same time absorbs a large amount of heat during the entire dehydration process to improve the fire resistance. Thermal insulation: Gypsum hardened body is a porous material with small thermal conductivity and good thermal insulation performance.

3. Has breathing function
When the indoor environment humidity is high, the breathing hole automatically absorbs moisture; under the opposite conditions, it can automatically release the stored water; it can be cycled repeatedly to control the indoor humidity within a suitable range, creating a good living environment for the occupants.

4. Save construction time
The plastering layer sets and hardens quickly, and the maintenance period is short. The entire hardening and strength compliance process can be completed in 1-2 days, which can greatly improve the work efficiency and speed up the progress of the project.

5. Light bulk density and large construction area
The gypsum mortar significantly reduces the self-weight of the building and significantly improves its seismic rating. The construction thickness is only 0.5cm. Conducive to winter construction: construction is not limited by seasons, especially in winter (above 0°C) when the construction period is rushed, the hydration speed will not be significantly slowed down due to low temperature, as long as the mixing water does not freeze, it has the characteristics of early strength and fast setting , is a good material for indoor plastering construction in winter.

Requirements for the base layer: the base layer is firm, dry, smooth and clean (no floating ash, no oil, etc.)

Construction requirements

Generally, the thickness of plastering is not less than 5mm (depending on the design requirements). More than 12mm should be carried out in layers, the thickness of each layer should be controlled within 12mm, and the next layer should be smeared after the last layer of slurry is finally set. When plastering, use a gray board and a trowel to smear the slurry on the wall, and use an H-shaped ruler or a scraper to scrape and compact the wall to make the wall straight. 
①When the plastering layer is close to the final setting during construction, it is forbidden to rub hard, so as to avoid the reduction of surface strength and the phenomenon of powder falling.
②The mixing ratio of gypsum mortar material should be appropriate, refer to the recommended mixing ratio. A feeding amount should be used up within the specified time. 
③Pour the water into the mixing bucket first, then pour the ash, and stir for 2-5 minutes to make the slurry reach a suitable consistency. 
④When the construction is completed every half day, the tools, mechanical equipment and the floor of the operation office should be cleaned up in time. 
⑤ For the cracks in the plastering layer caused by the shrinkage and settlement of the building structure and block walls, the repair work should be carried out after the shrinkage and settlement are stabilized.

Finished product protection
Before setting, the plastering gypsum mortar is forbidden to be washed, impacted, vibrated and frozen to prevent contamination and damage. The initial setting time of plastering gypsum is generally 1.5-2H, and the curing time shall not be less than 48h. Maintenance of finished products in summer: 24 hours after the completion of construction, the surface should be maintained with boiling water to ensure that the plastering layer is not dehydrated.
